IB job market is not good right now and the standards are higher than they were in 2021, so you’d also have to get comfortable working in FDD for a year or two. Other option is MBA but if you ask me, it’s not worth the cost unless money is not an issue for you. At larger investment banks, both IB analysts and ER associates start with the same base compensation. However, investment banking bonuses range from 10-50% higher than equity research bonuses at the entry level. The difference at some firms is even more acute. I would probably study at home and take the test and see what the score is. If you are getting a 690 just by studying the books you can probably bump it up higher on your own and do not need to invest in classes or private tutoring. If you completely bomb the test then you might want to look into getting a tutor.Don't know anything about BIWS. I also have Training the Street from Udemy which is decent so far. You can get it at a discount usually since Udemy seems to have constant 50%+ off sales. In all honesty, the best way to go is just to reuse someone's Wall Street Prep.
